The success story of a Yuva volunteer - A student of the 5th class of my school named Anamika was not coming to the school after Diwali vacation. So as per my schedule, I visited her house and asked the reason for her absence. Her mother said that one girl in her neighborhood has got harassed by her uncle so she was not believing the people around her area. So they were not sending their girl to the school so that she will be safe at home only. Her mother was planning to take her girl to her maternal uncle for further studies. So I explained to her mother that, you should teach your child to fight against these kinds of situations and you should take care of her while coming to school and going back home. And in school timing, I will treat her with a special process so that she will become confident to take steps on her own. After this conversation, her mother was convinced to put her back in the school and on the very next day, she was present in the class and I started training her with different activities for her own safety.
