No one can ever replace the unconditional love of a father! But today, YUVAites made a small attempt to make Priya and Pranjal, two needful single parent kids, 8 & 5 year old, each feel as loved as any father would have ever wanted to on his daughter's special day!
What's the special occasion & what did we do?
In a heart touching act of kindness, YUVAites organised a surprise birthday celebration for the two girls!Their first birthday after the little girls' father, an autorikshaw driver, passed away last year, there weren't going to be any celebrations in the poverty stricken house this year, as the family struggled to afford even the basics. But YUVAits were determined to make the day as special & memorable for the girls as it used to be with their father!
So, continuing the tradition of celebrating the day with lots of love & laughter, the Team brought along cake, sweets and cheer in their house. A thing in planning for weeks, it was worth all of it when it brought about a broad smile & sparkle in the eyes of the little ones and their mother!
And that's the greatest gift we could have ever asked for in return!!
